Agnes L. Griffin, 102, of Granville, passed away Christmas morning, Sunday, December 25, 2022 at The Laurels of Heath. She was born in 1920 in Kincheloe, WV to the late Richard Guy and Etta Bell.
Agnes was a graduate of West Virginia Business College, Clarksburg WV. Agnes then proceeded to work in the business field for the next 40 years in West Virginia and Columbus Ohio until her retirement in 1981.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Frank Fahner of Granville; grandchildren, Kimberly Moreland and Kathi Eimer; great grandchildren, Grant Davis, Alex Marcum, Preston Eimer, and Amanda Crowley; great great grandchildren, Remington Marcum and Arlo and Mabel Davis; in addition to, sister-in-law, Barbara Bell. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Bert Griffin; granddaughter, Karen Perkins; brothers, Virgil Royce and Guy Eugene Bell; and sisters, Thelma Bell, Wanda Life, and June Hay. Agnes is also survived by several nieces and nephews
A graveside service will be held Thursday, January 12, 2023 at 2:30 PM in the Chapel at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 5600 E. Broad St. in Columbus. Visitations will be held one hour prior to the service.
