A graveside service will be held at 10:00 A.M. for Annalou H. Campbell on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at Newark Memorial Gardens with Rev. Karen J. Chakoian as celebrant.
Annalou passed away October 22, 2017 at the Selma Markowitz Care Center in Newark. She was born in Licking County to the late John and Anna Gorsuch Haynes on October 30, 1925 and graduated from Granville High School in 1943. She attended Ohio University where she joined Phi Chi Delta a church affiliated sorority. She was also a former member of Alpha Gradale Soroity, Granville OES, Trudeau Guild, and TWIGS 6 and 15 where she served as treasurer for the board. Annalou was a volunteer for Hospice of Central Ohio and a long-time member of First Presbyterian Church in Granville.
Employed by Owens Corning Fiberglas, A.H. Heisey & Co., and Granville Schools as a secretary, Annalou retired in 1988.
Surviving are her husband of 69 years, John E. Campbell; sons and daughters-in-law, John David and Patty and Duane Lee and Beth Campbell; grandson, Colin; extended family, Mike and Deb and Matt and Rebecca Kocsis; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Annalou was preceded in death by sister and brother-in-law, Rachel and Paul Irelan; brothers and sisters-in-law, Paul and Orena Haynes and Robert and Regina Covey; nephews, Roy and Roger Haynes and John Miller.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 3-5 P.M. at McPeek-Hoekstra Funeral Home, 133 S. Prospect St., Granville. Online condolences may be expressed at www.mcpeekhoekstra.com.
