A funeral service for Barbara D. Boyd, 74, of Heath, formerly Granville, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 25, 2010 at McPeek-Hoekstra Funeral Home, 133 S. Prospect St., Granville with Pastor Bruce Hissong officiating. Burial will follow in Wilson Cemetery in Newark.
Barbara died Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at the Mount Carmel West Hospital in Columbus. She was born Nov. 11, 1935 in Cranberry, WV to the late James and Myrtle (Nolton) Keener.
Barbara was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who devoted her life to her family. She read the Bible everyday and believed with all her heart. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
Surviving are her husband of 50 years, Larry Cecil Boyd, Sr. of Heath; daughter, Mary Kay DellaMea of Pataskala; sons and daughters-in-law, James and Susan DellaMea of Newark, and Larry Boyd, Jr. and Stephanie of Heath; grandchildren, Michael Boyd and Samantha Boyd both of Heath; and 12 brothers and sisters.
