Barbara S Klotz Martin

Barbara S. Klotz Martin, 67, of Newark, passed away Monday, February 8, 2016 at the Selma Markowitz Care Center, operated by Hospice of Central Ohio in Newark. She was born to the late Henry E. and Evelyn I. Klotz in 1948 and grew up in Granville.

A graduate of Granville High School, Barbara worked at State Farm as a claims representative. She enjoyed the beauty of nature and poetry. She will be remembered for her care and compassion for others and love of family.

Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Kelli L. and Scott Sheppard; grandchildren, Malloreigh and Garrett Sheppard; great grandson, Liam Wentworth; brother and sister-in-law, Jeffrey E. and Karen Klotz; nieces, Krista Klotz and Wendy (Nick) Raucci; great niece and nephews; and very close friend of 30 years, Theresa Ridenour.

The family will receive friends Thursday, February 11, 2016 from 6 to 8 P.M. at the McPeek-Hoekstra Funeral Home, 133 S. Prospect St., Granville.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, February 12th at Maple Grove Cemetery in Granville with Pastor Tom Hughes as celebrant.
