Becky Lolita (Reyna) Waugh, 73, of Pataskala, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Monday surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her parents Sebastian and Elizabeth (Betty)Reyna, brother Sebastian (Boonie) Reyna, nephew, Mikey Smiley and brother-in-law Raymond Dyer. She leaves behind son, Michael Waugh (Sarah Seckel), granddaughter, Delilah Waugh, brothers, Frank Reyna, Don (Jeri) Reyna, sisters, Teresa (Elliott) McCoy, Florence Reyna Dyer, Christina (Gary) Carter and numerous nieces and nephews.
Becky graduated from Central High School (1969) and retired from the support staff at the FBI Columbus field office where she made a lasting impact on her colleagues and the community. However, her most cherished roles were that of a mother and grandmother.
Becky was known for her love to have fun. She could light up a room with her contagious smile and quick wittiness. Her talents extended to quilt making and cooking and baking after retirement. She was a master at coordinating social gatherings with family and friends to cultivate relationships.
She was a loving mother to Michael and a devoted grandmother who loved nothing more than spending time with her granddaughter, Delilah, nurturing her and filling her life with joy. Becky continued to share herself and accepted the role as a second parent to her great-nieces, Reyna and Elena, providing them with love, guidance, and support.
In her free time, Becky enjoyed cheering on her beloved OSU football team, spending time in Florida and baking cookies, making fudge, and cooking easy meals like mozzarella chicken and Johnny Marzetti. She shared these with her family creating many cherished memories together.
Becky will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. Her kindness, unmatched sense of humor and infectious smile will forever be remembered.
A celebration of Becky's life will be held at McPeek Hoekstra Hoskinson Funeral Home, 133 S Prospect St, Granville Ohio 43023 on Monday, July 29th, 5pm to 8pm. Additional showing will be held at the Church of St Edward of the Confessor, 785 Newark Granville Rd, Granville Ohio 43023 at 9am with funeral services beginning at 10am at the church. Becky will be laid to eternal rest at the Concord Cemetery 6244 Hoover Road, Grove City, OH 43123.
