Bennett Lewis Schilling

September 13, 2003 — September 29, 2023

Granville

On Friday Sept 29th our beloved oldest son, Bennett Lewis Schilling, died peacefully in his sleep. He was so proud to be the oldest of 4 boys. He fiercely led his brothers in life and now is the first family member to lead us in death. We know he will be waiting in heaven for the rest of us.

Bennett was into history, all things movie and cinema, video games, was an avid collector of random things, loved investing, making money, and learning. He was funny, gentle, loyal, protective and so giving. He was an athlete playing football, baseball, hockey, and loved to ski. He was always looking forward to his future and planning for what his life would look like. He had so many plans and goals. He had a fire in him for the future and we are heartbroken to not get to see all his dreams come true, as we know they would have. He had so much love to give and never hesitated to share it with all around him.

He is survived by his father, Christopher Lewis Schilling, his mother, Lindsay Michelle Schilling (Pardo), his brothers; Bradley (18), Zachary (16), and Zane (14), his grandparents, Doyle and Linda Schilling and Robert and Donna Pardo, and his aunts, Sara Fishburn (Pardo) and Marisa Pardo; and the love of his life, Charlet Geiger.

There will be a closed family viewing followed by cremation. Instead of flowers, please donate to Young Life of Licking County.

McPeek Hoekstra Hoskinson Funeral Home is honored to care for Bennett and his family.
