A graveside service for Betty W. Lindstrom, 88, of Pompano Beach, FL, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, 2007 at Maple Grove Cemetery in Granville with the Rev. Dr. David O. Woodyard officiating.

Mrs. Lindstrom died July 25, 2007 at North Ridge Medical Center in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.  She was born August 11, 1918 in Granville to the late Dorothy (McMann) and Russell Hill Williams.

Betty graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Denison University in 1940.  She met her husband, John, in high school, and they were married in 1943.  They enjoyed nearly 60 years of marriage.  They moved to Arlington Heights, Illinois in 1946 and lived there raising two children, Jack and Linne.  In 1972, they moved to Lighthouse Point, FL, where Betty began a successful career in real estate with Campbell/Rosemurry and Ballistrieri.

Betty was active in Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority and PEO (a philanthropic organization).  She was also an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Pompano.

Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Dr. John R. and Ann Lindstrom of Appleton, WI; grandchildren, John H. and Laura Lindstrom and Sarah Glen; sisters, Patricia Burkhardt of Montana and T.J. Storch of Delray Beach, FL; and brother Jack Williams of Tennessee.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John, in 2002, and her daughter, Linne, in 1985.
