Brenda P. Heisey

A memorial service celebrating the life of Brenda P. Heisey, 65, of Granville will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, January 8, 2015at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 107 E. Broadway, Granville with Rev. Dr. Stephen Applegate as celebrant. Private interment will be held in the family cemetery in Sylvania, Georgia.

Brenda passed away peacefully Sunday, January 04, 2015 at Kendal at Granville after a long battle with breast cancer. She was born September 13, 1949 in Savannah, GA to the late Van W. and Elizabeth (Zeagler) Pierce.

Brenda loved the South and was a true Southern Belle from Savannah. It wasn't until after marrying, she moved to Granville in the early 80's and raised her family. She was a remarkably generous, strong, and brave woman that never feared adversity. Her kindness, compassion, and immense love towards her family and friends leave a legacy to be remembered.

Surviving are her children and spouses, Elizabeth Heisey of Savannah, GA, Katharine Heisey (Jeff Ferris) of Buckeye, Lake, and Augustus Heisey, IV, (Aundreia), of New York City, NY: and former husband, Augustus Heisey III, of Tybee Island, GA.
