C. Kenneth "Buddy" Buzzard
November 26, 1939 — March 10, 2015
A celebration of life service for C. Kenneth "Buddy" Buzzard, 75, of Pataskala will be held at 3:30 P.M. on Sunday, March 15, 2015 at Hosanna Lutheran Church, 7714 Hazelton-Etna Rd., in Pataskala with Pastor Bret Rizzo as celebrant. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
Buddy died peacefully on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at Mt. Carmel East in Columbus. He was born in 1939 in Darbyville, OH to the late John A. and Ruth P. (Collins) Buzzard.
Buddy was an auto body painter formerly employed by Medik-Ford and Northland Dodge in Columbus. He was also employed by Big Bear before retiring as a mechanic.
Naturally, Buddy had a passion for cars and loved NASCAR. He had the ability to fix just about anything. Over the years, he enjoyed "treasure" hunting at garage sales and various flea markets.
Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Ritva (Jantunen) Buzzard; sons, Keith (Andrea) Buzzard and Jonathan Buzzard; granddaughters, Harmony and October Buzzard all of Pataskala; sisters, Mary Lou (Ad) Oltmann of Newark, Barbara (Jim) Timms of Somerset, and Carolyn (Wayne) Harne of Pataskala; longtime friend, Gene Rinehart of Powell; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, Buddy is proceeded in death by sisters, Clara Jean Ramsey and Joann Leonard.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
