Carolyn Sue Ross

September 22, 1944 — August 28, 2013

Carolyn Sue White Ross, 68, of Granville, Ohio went to be with the Lord on August 28, 2013. She was born Sept. 22, 1944 in Morgan County, Ohio to the late Coral C. White and Bertha Louise (O'Neal) White Buckley .

Carolyn was employed by LCAP as a home health aide where she was loved and appreciated by all. She was also an active attendee of Bible Baptist Church in Newark, Ohio.

Carolyn was a devoted daughter, wife, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt, and friend. Carolyn greatly enjoyed the time she was able to spend with cherished loved ones and friends. She was often referred to as 'the glue that held the family together'. She loved baking, taking pictures, and serving to the needs of others.

Surviving are her husband of 48 years, Larry Lee Ross; sisters, Betty (Gene) Wilson and Mary Rosalie Linscott; brothers, Robert C. (Joanne) White, Ronald J. (Donna) White, Bill (Susie) White, and Tom (Cinda) White; brother and sister-in-law, David and Rita Ross; grandchildren, Jeremy (Jessica Merrill), Ashley (Jessie Drohman), and Coral (Sarah Lennington) Ross; great-grandchildren, Jeremy David (II), Axel Gram Coral and Ryan Joseph Ross, Corbin Allen and Aiden Mark Bell, Coral Marie Drohman, and Zavier Chesser; aunt, Helen O'Neil; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, David Lawrence Ross; mother-in-law, Rachel Ross; father-in-law, Ned Ross; brother, Richard E. White; nieces, Sandra White, Dixie Linscott Lyons, and Josie Marie VanFossen; nephews, Mark Anthony White and Jeffrey Scott White.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at Bible Baptist Church, 50 Price Rd., Newark, Ohio with Pastor Paul A. Reimer officiating. Burial will follow at Rehoboth Cemetery in New Lexington. Viewing will be Friday, Aug. 30, 2013 at the church from 6 to 8 P.M. and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
