Cora M. Stinson

A graveside service will be held for Cora M. Stinson, 89, of Granville at noon on Friday, November 1, 2013 at Sunset Cemetery, 6959 W. Broad St., Galloway, OH with the Rev. Mark Pierce officiating.
Cora died peacefully, Sunday, October 27, 2013 at Chapel Grove Inn, Heath. She was born September 5, 1924 in Marinette, Wisconsin to the late William and Wilma (Johnson) Van Steenberg.
Settling in Granville in 1974 with her husband Harold, Cora was a 1942 graduate of Lancaster High School, and was a former employee of the O.S.U. Research Foundation. She enjoyed needlepoint and was an avid quilter.
Surviving are her loving husband of 70 years, Harold L. Stinson; daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Chuck Durrant of Anthem, AZ; and one granddaughter and her husband, Deverre and Scot Lierman and their children, Lexi and Abby of Cary, NC.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 31, 2013 from 3 to 6 P.M. at the McPeek-Hoekstra Funeral Home, 133 S. Prospect St., Granville. Online condolences may be expressed at www.mcpeekhoekstra.com.
