D. Cheryle Milner

A graveside service will be held for Dorothy Cheryle Milner, 62, of Grove City at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at Maple Grove Cemetery in Alexandria with Pastor Kevin Hull officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday from noon until 2:00 p.m. at McPeek-Hoekstra Funeral Home in Granville.

Cheryle died Friday, June 25, 2010 at Zusman House in Columbus. She was born August 1, 1947 in Alexandria to the late Dorothy Williamson and Ellis Rife.

A graduate of Northridge High School, Cheryle furthered her education at Grant College of Nursing and became a registered nurse. She was employed many years at Licking Memorial Hospital as a surgical nurse. She was most recently employed at O.S.U. Hospital in Columbus.

A genuinely giving person, Cheryle enjoyed the holidays but especially the spirit of Christmas with her big heart, and giving nature. She especially enjoyed shopping for that perfect gift. She will lovingly be remembered for the joy she brought her family and others.

Surviving are her sons and daughter-in law, Martin and Anita Milner and Randal Milner both of Grove City and grandchildren, Hailey, Hannah, and Joshua.

In addition to her parents, Cheryle was preceded in death by her brother Bob Rife.
