A memorial service celebrating the life of Diana K. Jones, 59, of Granville will be held at 1:00 P.M. December 28, 2013 at Centenary United Methodist Church, 102 E. Broadway, Granville with Rev. Bob Long as celebrant.
Diana passed away unexpectedly Monday, December 16, 2013 at Licking Memorial Hospital in Newark. She was born March 10, 1954 in Big Rapids, Michigan to the late Walter E. Vanderwater and Dolores C. (Zorovich) Vanderwater.
After a 12 year career with the Limited as a store manager, Diana used her passion, expert equestrian skills, and life-time love of horses to found the Granville Carriage Company, which became a staple of the community. She will be remembered as loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
In addition to her mother, Diana is survived by her husband of 28 years, Watson R. Jones; children and their spouses, John and Tina Jones and Mallory and Stephen Paulson; grandsons, Ryan and Jacob Jones; brothers and sister-in-law, Richard Vanderwater and David and Jo Vanderwater; and faithful carriage companion, Toby.
