Ellen Morrison Weaver

A private graveside service will be held at Park Cemetery in Garrettsville, Ohio for Ellen Morrison Weaver, 102, of Newark. Ellen died Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at home. She was born in Aurora, Ohio December 7, 1909 to the late John W. and Alice M. (Pflug) Morrison.
A 67 year member of Order of Eastern Star Chapter #260, Ellen also volunteered as a "Pink Lady" at Lake Placid Hospital and was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Lake Placid, Florida.
Surviving are her daughter-in-law, Phyllis J. (Hendricks) Weaver; grandchildren and their spouses, Teri Lee and Sam Varney, Todd Loren and Pam Weaver, Jay Thomas Weaver, Jodi Ann and Daniel Lavely; great-grandchildren, Kaylynn Weaver, Mallary Weaver, Tyler Chiles, and William Chiles; and niece and her husband, Leah and Jack Schultz.
In addition to her parents, Ellen was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years Frederick Warren Weaver; sons, Fred William Weaver and infant son; and brothers, Roy Morrison, Earl Morrison, and Claude Morrison.
