Emily Stansbury

Emily C. Stansbury, 94, of Granville died Friday, August 24, 2012 at SharonBrooke in Newark. She was born September 23, 1917 in Powhatan Point, Ohio to the late Ben and Willa (Gibson) Ramsay.
A graduate of Powhatan High School and Newark College of Commerce, Emily was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church.
Emily was the retired secretary-treasurer of Imsco Corporation. Previously, she worked as an administrative secretary at Rockwell International. She loved her family and was devoted to her grandchildren.
Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Judy Stansbury of Granville; grandchildren, Susan (Chris Minniear), Doug (Cassi Crall), David (Cathy) Stansbury, and Meg (Scott Clark); and great-grandchildren, Alex, Josh, Zoe, Ava, Lily and Catie.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Stansbury, who died June 3 1999; three brothers; and two sisters.
