Recipe for Frank Boffa
Ingredients imported from Italy
2 c. loving family most
1/2 c. sand from Destin’s coast
1 tsp. wine
1 hand of poker
1 truckload of vinegar, straight from the broker
3/4 hr. sitting on the deck
“I love you” (1 bushel + 1 peck)
2 Somerset Maugham books
1 of the world’s greatest cooks
3/4 c. tales ending ridiculously ever after
1 heaping Tbsp. of laughter
Combine ingredients to form a soft, warm dough. Place in kitchen, occasionally rotating to garden, in front of fireplace, and downtown chatting up friends and strangers. Allow to bake for 74 years. Enjoy to the fullest.
Frank J. Boffa died Saturday, April 25, 2015. Surviving are his wife, Sandra; children, David Boffa and his wife Alane, Daniel Boffa and his wife Jill, Megan Cavanaugh and her husband, Donnie Austin, and Laura Boffa; grandsons, Nicholas, William, Luke, Matthew, and Charlie; and former wife, Gienne. In addition to his parents, Louis and Rose Boffa, Frank was preceded in death by his brother, Vincent Boffa, and sister, Kay Isabella.
