A memorial service celebrating the life of Gail L. Anderson, 65, of Granville will be held Saturday, May 24, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. at the First United Methodist Church, 88 N. Fifth St., Newark with Pastor Seth Oiler as celebrant.
Gail died Monday, May 19, 2014 at the O.S.U. Ross Heart Hospital in Columbus. She was born October 13, 1948 in Charleston, West Virginia to James and the late Jean (Gunnoe) Henderson.
Gail enjoyed traveling, gardening, landscaping, and golfing. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, she loved and cherished her family above all. She will be remembered for her endless acts of kindness, caring and thoughtfulness.
In addition to her father and step-mother, Lora, of Charleston, W.Va., she is survived by her husband, John Anderson of Granville; son, Brian (Pamela) Clark of Charleston, W.Va.; daughter, Laura (Greg) Johnson of Moorestown, NJ; step-son, Kyle Anderson of Westerville; step-daughter, Lauren Anderson (Drew Denson) of Newark; grandchildren, Gavin, Ava, Chloe, Andrew, Carson, and Olivia; brothers, Brooks (Cyndee) Henderson of Houston, and Mark Henderson of Beaver W.Va; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by one brother, Dana Henderson.
