Gary A. Nutter

Gary Allen Nutter, of Granville, OH, lost his fight with Melanoma cancer on Tuesday, August 11, 2015, at the James Cancer Center on the campus of Ohio State. He was 49 years old.  Gary was born in Ripley, WV in 1966 to the late Marjorie (Foster) Nutter and Allen Nutter of Washington Courthouse, OH. He was employed by Cardinal Health as a Project Manager.

As Gary began his journey to beat cancer, he started a blog to share his experience as well as inspire and encourage others that were going thru similar situations. You can find his work on www.noblackclouds.com . He also had many interests which included family cruises, Little League baseball, Cleveland Browns, Columbus Blue Jackets and music. A patriot and proud veteran, Gary also served with the U.S. Air Guard.

Gary is survived by his beautiful wife, Kelly (Wilson) Nutter and six children: Gary Nutter II,23, Levi Nutter, 21, Alyia Nutter, 15, Ashlyn Brockway, 16, Hannah Brockway,13 and Zachary Brockway, 10. Also, three siblings: Rebecca Nutter Anderson, husband Andrew, Samuel Nutter, wife Belinda and Deborah Nutter Blair, husband Jeff, three nieces and ten nephews.

Come join us for a Celebration of Gary’s life. Calling hours will be Friday, August 14th at the McPeek-Hoekstra Funeral Home located at 133 S. Prospect St. Granville, OH. A Memorial Celebration will be held on Saturday, August 15th, at 4:30 P.M.- Crossroads Christian Church located at 175 Halliday Way, Washington Courthouse, OH. with Pastor Todd Maurer as celebrant.
