A graveside service will be held for Gertrude F. Jones Fuller, 89, of Newark, formerly of Granville, at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at Fletcher Chapel Cemetery in Millersport with family friend Trent Smith as celebrant.
Trudy died Thursday, August 7, 2014 at her home. She was born April 25, 1925 in Blackwater, Kentucky to the late Charles and Sarah (Taylor) Chandler.
A passionate gardener, Trudy loved flowers and gardening. She enjoyed crafting, sewing, canning, and was known for her cooking. Her recipes always had a pinch of love as a special ingredient. She will be remembered as a caring person who loved her family.
Surviving are her children, Melvin (Carol) Lewis, Sara (Kraig) Daniels, and Douglas Jones; six grandchildren, including granddaughters, Rachel (John) Clapper and Chrystal (Skip) Bowens; many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and brother, Carlisle Chandler.
In addition to her parents, Trudy was preceded in death by her husbands, Jenkin Jones, Jr., who died in 1994 and John Fuller; sister, Beatrice; two brothers, Clarence and Melvin; and grandson, Shawn.
