Glenn "Ted" T. Jordan

Remembering with love, Glenn Theodore “Ted” Jordan, 51, of Granville, Ohio, who passed away on December 22, 2024. Ted was born on October 17, 1973, to the late Glenn A. Jordan and Janet A. Jordan. A Celebration of Life will be held from 4-7pm on Monday, December 30th 2024, at McPeek Hoekstra Hoskinson Funeral Home, 133 S. Prospect Street, Granville, Ohio 43023.  Private burial Maple Grove Cemetery.

A proud Granville native, Ted graduated from Granville High School in 1992 and went on to earn his degree from The Ohio State University in 1997. While Ted's professional life led him to work for the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities, his heart and passion were always with Ohio State. He was an active member of The Foundation, a direct donation affiliate for The Ohio State University Athletics, and his commitment to supporting the Buckeyes was a reflection of his generosity and dedication to causes that mattered to him.

Ted is survived by his three beloved children: Rowan Isabelle Jordan (20), Urban Gregory Jordan (9), and stepdaughter Jordan Delaney Sweeney (26). Anyone who knew Ted would know his children were the absolute core of his life and he used any opportunity to brag about them. Also, very important to my dad were his brother-in-law, Michael A. Taft, and his cousin, Christine Stevens, whom he cherished time with deeply. He leaves behind a legacy of love, warmth, and a remarkable ability to form lifelong friendships. While Ted had no siblings, he was blessed with a vast and close-knit circle of friends who considered him family. The community he built over the years was a testament to his character—loyal, kind, and always ready to lend a hand or share a laugh.

Ted's passing leaves a profound void in the lives of all who knew him. His memory will be cherished by his family, friends, and all who were touched by his infectious spirit and his unwavering love for those he cared about.
