A memorial service for Gloria S. Radebaugh will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at the McPeek-Hoekstra Funeral Home, 133 S. Prospect Street, Granville, Ohio with Pastor John K. Slage officiating.
The family will greet friends from 10:30 to 11:30 prior to the service on Saturday.
Gloria was born on June 28, 1931 to the late Lucile (Remsen) Seelig and Alvin C. Seelig in Toledo, Ohio.
A graduate of Bexley High School and the Ohio State University (with a B.S. in Education), Gloria remained involved with education and children throughout her life. She began her teaching career in San Diego, California and then in Bexley, Ohio as an elementary school teacher. Gloria raised her four children and returned to teaching at the Northeast School in Gahanna as an assistant teacher with the Franklin County Board of DD.
Gloria was an avid tennis player in her younger days and enjoyed traveling with her family. Her children were the love of her life.
Surviving are son Michael of Westerville; daughter, Mary and husband Ted Rodewig of Granville; daughter, Nancy of Utica; grandchildren, Caroline and John Rodewig of Granville; sister, Dorothy Greenslade of Shaker Heights and brother, Richard Seelig of Worthington.
Gloria was preceded in death by her son Mark in 1981.
