Helene W. Cook

A private graveside service will be held for Helene W. “Sue” Cook, 92, of Reynoldsburg, formerly of Granville, at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Newark. The family will receive friends Sunday, December 11, 2016 from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. at the McPeek-Hoekstra Funeral Home, 133 S. Prospect St., Granville.

Sue passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at her home in Reynoldsburg. She was born in 1924 in Van Wert, Ohio to the late Walter B. and Adah Mae Webster.

A registered nurse, Sue studied and was trained at St. Luke’s Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. Sue devoted her life to family. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who cherished her friends and many fond memories of Granville.

Surviving are her sons and daughters-in-law, William H. and Caroline Cook and John W. and Patricia Cook; grandchildren and their spouses, Bradley W. and Mary Cook and Lauren E. and Brook Haygood; step grandchildren, Amber and Jaramy Nope; and great grandchildren, Bennett and Wesley Cook and Elle and Charlotte Haygood.

In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her husband Ralph H. Cook, D.D.S. and two sisters, Jane and Phyllis.
