Jacob A. Brown

A unique, focused, and spirited person, Jacob A. Brown, 19, died at his home November 2, 2016 in Newark, Ohio. He was born in 1997 to Spencer and Emily (Hamann) Brown.

Jacob enjoyed video gaming, music, and was an accomplished food acquisitioner specializing in his families’ favorite items. He will lovingly be remembered for his forthrightness, inquisitiveness, and creative capabilities.

Surviving are his parents, Spencer and Emily Brown; siblings, Caleb and Grace; daughter, Nicole “Gizzy”; nephew, Camden Brown; maternal grandmother, Peggy Hamann; uncles, Shawn (Kandi) Brown, Kyle (Allison) Brown, and Rick (Michele) Hamann; aunts, Dreah (Steve) Green, Susan Hamann, and Ellen (David) Long; and many cousins.

He is preceded in death by grandparents, Richard Hamann, and Stuart and Ruth Brown.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 12, 2016 from 3 to 5 P.M. at the McPeek-Hoekstra Funeral Home, 133 S. Prospect St., Granville, OH 43023.  A private graveside will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery.
