Janet "Jan" C. Milford

Janet “Jan” C. Milford, age 89 of Granville, passed away at Sharonbrooke Assisted Living in Newark on Thursday, September 21, 2023.  She was born December 3, 1933, in Cleveland, Ohio to the late John and Gladys Virginia (Finch) Zipp.

Jan was best known as the school secretary for the Granville K-3 building.  She loved her job and thought the children were wonderful.  She often referencing them as her “little darlings”.

Jan enjoyed reading and watching nature in Lynch’s back yard.  She enjoyed soothing music and the sound of waves having been raised near Lake Erie.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Neil E. Milford in 2013 and her daughter, Becky Milford.

Jan is survived by her son John Milford and numerous friends.

Per Jan’s wishes, no services are being held at this time.
