Jason D. Jacquet

Beloved son, brother, brother-in-law, nephew, cousin, uncle, and friend, Jason Jacquet, born August 22, 1981, died on January 26, 2025, at age 43, after a series of complications stemming from a cancer diagnosis in 2017.

Jason was known for his gentle nature and witty one-liners. He loved his friends, jogging, and dogs from all walks of life. He made people laugh. He was a long-time resident of Granville, Ohio.

Jason is survived by his mother and father, Donna and Jay Jacquet; sisters, Kristin Dawson, Courtney Werner, and Jennifer Jacquet; three nieces and a nephew, Cara, Nate, Zelda, and Sashie; and his God-dog Bruno.

We are grateful for Medicaid, and for the many doctors and nurses and the wonderful care they provided.

A memorial service will be held at 1 pm on Sunday, February 9, in Woodhall Ballroom at Cherry Valley Hotel, 2299 Cherry Valley Road SE, Newark. A meal and time of fellowship will follow.
