A memorial service for Jean Brown Milleman, 78, of Granville will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Pilgrim Lutheran Church, 309 W. Broadway Street, Granville with Pastor Daniel Ruff officiating. A private interment will be held in Maple Grove Cemetery, Granville.
Mrs. Milleman passed away December 18, 2007 at her home. She was born December 6, 1929 in Bremen, IN to the late Ellis and Violet (Hans) Brown.
Jean attended Ball State University and was a member of Alpha Chi Omega Sorority.
A devoted mother and grandmother, Jean was also a member of Pilgrim Lutheran Church in Granville where she was active in the Women's Guild. She also enjoyed her time spent with the Granville Fellowship and the Sinnett House.
Surviving are her sons and daughter-in-law, Kirk and Nancy Milleman of Hebron and Brian Milleman of Granville; daughters and son-in-law, Laura and Kevin McVey of Chicago, IL and Betsy Milleman of Granville; grandchildren, Jennifer Milleman Schumacher and her husband Jereme of Lutz, FL, Nathan Milleman of Canton, and Logan Milleman of Newark; great-grandchildren, Ruby, Tommy, and Jason Schumacher; brother and sister-in-law, James and Phyllis Brown of Bremen, IN; nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her husband Jack D. Milleman who died August 15, 1995.
McPeek Funeral Home in Granville is assisting the family with arrangements.
