John A Lieberth

A Funeral Mass will be held for John A. Lieberth, 79, of Granville, on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. at the Church of St. Edward the Confessor, 785 Newark Granville Rd., Granville with Msgr. Paul P. Enke as celebrant. Burial will follow at Welsh Hills Cemetery in Granville.

A graduate of the University of Cincinnati, John retired from Licking Memorial Hospital after 50 years and two months service as a pharmacist. He was previously employed at Taylor Pharmacy in Granville. As a pharmacist, he was dedicated to making sure his patients received the medications they needed.

John enjoyed being outside tending to his vegetable garden, fishing in Canada, and hunting.

Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Bernadette; children and their spouses, Michael Lieberth and Joy Smith, Mark Lieberth and Stephanie Meyers, and Erin Gramza; grandchildren, Katherine, Caroline, and Madeleine Lieberth, Ryan and Adam Lieberth, and Elizabeth and Paige Gramza; and sister, Ann K. Lieberth.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his sister, Jane A. Lieberth.
