John F. Sylvester

John F. Sylvester, 76, of Cape Coral and Sanibel Island, FL has died after a valiant battle with lung cancer.

A veteran of the Navy, John is survived by siblings Jane (CA), Amy (NH) and Philip (OR) as well as their children, two grandnieces and many friends he cherished as his “local” family.

Self proclaimed “freelance philosopher,” John was a seeker who in his final days shared that he now embodied the love he had been seeking and that he felt gratitude, grace and peace. His life will be celebrated on a later date at Unity of Ft Myers.
