Judy Sandbrink

A memorial service celebrating the life of Judith M. Sandbrink, 77, of Granville, will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, December 12, 2022 at Central Christian Church, 587 Mt. Vernon Rd., Newark with Rev. Kara Swartz as celebrant. A private graveside service will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery, Granville.

A 1963 graduate of Granville High School, Judy passed away December 7, 2022 at her home. She was born in Newark to the late Dwight and Kathryn Sawyer.

After graduating from Central Ohio Technical College, Judy was employed as a bookkeeper with JBA Architects and then Dixon, Davis, and Bagent in Granville. She loved reading, traveling, needlework, and knitting. Judy cherished her time spent in Florida and was a talented card maker.

Surviving are her daughters, Kat Ferguson and Kim Sandbrink; grandchildren, Kourtney and Kaci Spurling, and Destiny Ferguson; great grandchildren, Kraven, Matthew, Vega, Zephyr, and Rheya; brother, David Sawyer; and canine companions, Angus and Dolly.

In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; brothers, Tom, Carl, and Joe; and loyal canine pal, Mr. McDougal III.
