Karen Collins

A private graveside service will be held for Karen L. Collins, 75, of Marysville, at Maple Grove Cemetery in Granville.

Karen passed away August 4, 2022 at Memorial Hospital in Marysville. She was born in Columbus, Ohio to the late John Maramon McFarland and Eleanor (Merriman) McFarland.

A 1976 graduate of the University of North Carolina Wilmington, Karen enjoyed a 33-year career as a registered nurse in Wilmington, NC, Columbus, and Akron covering many different specialties within the field.

Karen enjoyed cooking, reading, playing cards, games, watching football, and coloring. `Her children were her world and she loved them unconditionally.

Surviving are her children, Tracy Rogers, Heather Andrade (Juan), Cortney Triplett (Mike), Jason Leder (Sarah), and Stephanie Griscti (Brian); 18 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; sister, Sharon Evans and brothers John McFarland and Scott McFarland, nieces and nephews, and countless other family members including her loyal cat Kit Kat.

In addition to her parents, Karen was preceded in death by her husband Daniel Collins, her Grandma Grace and one grandchild Alexander Triplett.
