A memorial service for Karl L. Moss, 52, of Granville, will be held at 12 Noon on Monday, May 4, 2009, at Swasey Chapel on the campus of Denison University in Granville. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to noon prior to the service.
Karl died Thursday, April 30, 2009, in Heath. He was born October 29, 1956, in Dayton to Clyde and Christine (Pharris) Moss of Granville.
Karl was the owner of Integrity Recovery in Heath. He retired as a Sergeant in 2000 after 20 years of service with the Ohio Highway Patrol and served on the Governor's Detail with George Voinovich.
Karl was a graduate of Granville High School, attended The Ohio State University and graduated from the Ohio Highway Patrol Academy in Columbus.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Elizabeth "Beth" Moss; son, Graham Moss; daughter, Whitney Moss; brother and sister-in-law, Ed and Susan Moss of Columbus; mother-in-law and father-in-law, George and Ellen Kisker of Denver, CO; brothers-in-law, Mark Kisker of Carbondale, CO and Steve Kisker of Aspen, CO.; and many nieces and nephews.
