A memorial service for Kathryn Joanne Stanz, 62, of Newark, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 12, 2007 at the Centenary United Methodist Church, 102 E. Broadway, Granville, with the Rev. Karen J. Chakoian and Connie J. Westbrook officiating.
Entombment will follow on Saturday at noon at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park in Granger, IN. Kathy, a graduate of St. Joseph Academy in Tipton, IN, died July 9, 2007, at Licking Memorial Hospital. She was born May 6, 1945 in San Antonio, Texas to the late Roger Henry and Elizabeth Anderson Stanz.
In addition to her employment at LICCO, Miss Stanz volunteered at Licking Memorial Hospital. Kathy was active at Zerger Hall working on the newsletter and participating in the exercise classes. She was also a member of Centenary United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Daisy Circle.
Surviving are her sister and brother-in-law, Susan Elizabeth and Larry N. Pasley, M.D.; brother and sister-in-law, James Roger and Patty Stanz of Mishawaka, IN; nephews, Jonathan and Benjamin Pasley, and Christopher Stanz; and Niece, Kimberly McBride.
