A funeral service celebrating the life of Kenneth V. Camp, (known to his family as KV), age 88 of Newark, will be held at 12 NOON, Saturday, March 15th, 2025 at McPeek Hoekstra Hoskinson Funeral Home, 133 S. Prospect Street, Granville, Ohio where visitation will be held one hour prior from 11 AM-12 PM Saturday with Pastor Greg Sheets officiating. Burial immediately following at Union Evangelical Cemetery, Baltimore, Ohio.

Kenneth passed away Monday, March 3, 2025, in his daughter’s home surrounded by his loving family. He was born September 11, 1936, in Baltimore, Ohio to the late Russell H. and Carrie M. (Shreyer) Camp.

Kenneth graduated from both 3B Beauty School and Fairfield Career Center as a Certified Nursing Assistant. He served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1957-1963.

He had a long career working for Midland Screw Corp, Lancaster Electroplating, Owen Corning Fiberglass, Anchor Hocking Glass, B&O Railroad, was a truck driver and yard Manager for Carter Lumber. Kenneth was a self-employed upholster and a Certified Nursing Assistant.

He loved his family and spending time with his 5 children. Kenneth enjoyed square dancing and gardening. He was an avid sports fan, especially a football fan, The Ohio State Buckeyes being his favorite Team. Kenneth was a former member of the Spring Hills Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Betty L. (James) Camp whom he married on November 29, 1958; sisters, Josephine Stillwell, Mary Lou Bradley and Mildred Swarner

Kenneth is survived by children, K. Douglas (Suzette) Camp, Kurt (Tammy) Camp, Lynne (Ramundo Marfil) Jones, Pamela (Robert Turnquist) Cetin, Julie Duff; grandchildren, Joshua, Shawn, Amarae, Zachery, Sarah, Nicholas, Tabitha, Richard, Shante, James, Jimmie, Ray and Erica; numerous great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
