Kerry J. Davis

Kerry Jonathan Davis passed peacefully at his home in Granville on March 8th 2022 at the age of 60 from lung cancer.

Kerry was born to Robert and Wanda Davis at Newark Hospital on December 16th 1961. He attended Granville schools and graduated from Newark Catholic in 1980 where he played varsity football and met lifelong friends. Later he worked construction with a special interest in stone masonry. He was always a witty, caring and happy person. Kerry loved nature, Ohio State and Cleveland Browns football, and most of all his family.

Kerry is survived by those he loved and cared deeply for, who loved and cared deeply for him. Each holding firmly at his side throughout his life until the very end. His beloved daughter, Jessica. His mother Wanda. Siblings Kristie and husband Michael Green, Kent and wife Jenny Davis. Niece Tracy and husband Jeremy Hysell. Nephews BJ Davis, Ryan Green, Colon and wife Megan Green. Uncle Michael Davis, close friends through the years, and his "best buddy" Rosie the cat. Kerry is proceeded in death by his father, Robert Davis.

A private service will be held in the spring for close family and friends at his home, by the pond, where he always longed to be.
