Larry L. Ross

Larry L. Ross, 68, of Granville, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 27, 2013. He was born May 16, 1945 in Zanesville, Ohio to the late Ned and Rachel (Bennett) Ross.

A straight-up, honest guy and a talented mechanic who could repair anything, Larry owned and operated his own trucking business. He will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, and brother who enjoyed fishing. He was a faithful attendee of Bible Baptist Church in Newark.

Surviving are his grandchildren, Jeremy (Jessica Merrill), Ashley (Jessie Drohman), and Coral (Sarah Lennington) Ross; great grandchildren, Jeremy David II, Axle Gram Coral, and Ryan Joseph Ross, Corbin Allen, Aiden Mark Bell, Coral Marie Drohman, and Zavier Chesser; brother and sister-in-law, David and Rita Ross; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Carolyn Sue Ross, who died August 28, 2013; and son, David Lawrence Ross.

A funeral service celebrating Larry's life will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at Bible Baptist Church, 50 N. Price Rd., Newark with Rev Paul Reimer as celebrant. Burial will follow at Rehoboth Cemetery in New Lexington. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the church.
