Lincoln Brent “Linc” Hacker, age 54, of Etna, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 12, 2024 at his home. Lincoln was born March 27, 1970 in Weatherford, Oklahoma.

Linc received a Bachelor’s degree from Southwestern University and a Master’s degree from the University of Phoenix. He was employed by AEP as an IT Manager. Linc enjoyed sports cars and traveling with his wife to anywhere that had a beach.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Shanna Marie (Batey) Hacker, whom he married December 27, 2003; sons, Dakota Hacker and Kyle Inman, both of Blacklick; daughter, Kassie (Kevin) Hay of Fredericktown; grandchildren, Brice Hay and Brayden Hay; his mother, Carla Lynn (Baker) Dandridge of Pataskala; mother-in-law, Sandy Batey; brothers-in-law, Darren (Angie) Batey and Daniel (Kandy) Batey; of Bristow, OK; step sister Jeanie Williams of Atoka, OK and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Phillip Ray Hacker; step-father, Robert Dandridge; and father-in-law, John Batey.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, at McPeek Hoekstra Hoskinson Funeral Home, 133 South Prospect Street in Granville.
