A funeral service for Lotte M. Blaha, 87, of Granville, will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Pilgrim Lutheran Church, 309 W. Broadway, Granville, with Pastor Daniel Roof officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Granville.
Mrs. Blaha, a member of Pilgrim Lutheran Church, died Jan. 12, 2008, at her residence. She was born Nov. 28, 1920, in Pietzardin, Germany, to the late Marie (Schedlinski) and Johann Kuklinski.
Mrs. Blaha was a member of the Granville Garden Club, Ohio Mushroom Society and the Newark Mennechor. In 2007, she was named "Gardener of the Year" by the garden club. Lotte had been a participant in the Granville Farmer's Market since it began in 1994 where she sold many of her homegrown wildflowers.
Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Rene V. and Christine Blaha of Pataskala; daughter Vera L. Blaha of Granville; grandchildren, Michael Blaha and his wife, Stephanie, Vivette Russell, and Silvia Blaha; and great-grandchildren, Mikey, Connor and Christl.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Vladislav Blaha, who died April 7, 1982.
