Marian Tabolt Agan

Marian passed away Friday, January 25, 2019 at her home.  She was born in New York City to Charles and Susanna Tabolt on April 24, 1929.  She graduated from Aquinas Hall, Bronx, NY and attended Good Counsel College, White Plains, NY.

Married to Lt. Eugene F. Agan, Jr. on August 16, 1952; they celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary last year.

She devoted her life to family and community service.  Mother of five children, Boy Scout den mother, parish council member, Head Start Coordinator and volunteer at Centenary United Methodist Church Meals on Wheels in Granville.

She is survived by loving husband, Eugene; children: Jay, Christopher (Debbie), Michael (Tracy), Ruth (Charles) Llewellyn, and Sheila; grandchildren: Vanessa, David (Andrea) and Shelbi (Joey); great grandchildren: Isabella and Samuel Agan, and Gavin Robbins; sisters-in-law: Susan Savino (Elmira, NY), Ann Marie Wagner (Bradenton, FL), Else Tabolt (Manchester, NJ), and Patricia Mailey (Horseheads, NY); many nieces and nephews; and beloved cat, Jade.

Marian is preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Michael, Charles, and John; twin sister: Margaret Grieco; and brother-in-law, Patrick Agan.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

The family would like to thank the employees of Hospice and Home Instead who spent their time caring for Marian.
