A Funeral Mass will be held for Marion M. Lo Curto Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 10:30 A.M. at Blessed Sacrament Church, 411 E. Main Street, Newark with Fr. Jonathan F. Wilson as celebrant. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Pataskala. At the conclusion of the graveside service, all are invited to the church for a time of fellowship and thanksgiving for Marion’s life.
Marion passed away October 15, 2016 at Licking Memorial Hospital in Newark. She was born in Mt. Vernon, Ohio to the late Harold Lamb and Nola Barrett.
A retired registered nurse, Marion enjoyed a 27 year career at Licking Memorial Hospital where she most recently worked in ICU. She was a generous and self-sacrificing person who enjoyed traveling, fishing, and spending time with her grandchildren. Christmas and her time spent in Florida and North Carolina with her family and friends were cherished by Marion.
Surviving are her daughters and son-in-law, Kimberly Jacks of Lancaster and Kristin and Allen Lewis, M.D. of New Albany; grandchildren, Brittney, Brandon, Hillary, Katie, Nick, and Max; step grandchildren, Rachael and Brian; brother, Robert Lamb; and special life-time friend Cynthia Hollar.
In addition to her parents, Marion was preceded in death by her sister, Hazel Sherod.
