A memorial service celebrating the life of Marjorie Ellen Chaney, 81, of Granville, will be held at 3:00 P.M. Monday, August 20, 2012 at Centenary United Methodist Church, 102 E. Broadway, Granville with Rev. Stephen J. Cramer officiating.
Marjorie died Thursday, August 16, 2012 at the Selma Markowitz Care Center, operated by Hospice of Central Ohio. She was born in Newark October 13, 1930 to the late Louise M. (Varner) and Walter C. Chaney, Sr.
A 28 year employee of LICCO, Marjorie enjoyed her work packing items and sewing. She was dearly loved and cared for by her family.
Surviving are her brother and sister-in-law, Walter C. and LaVonne Chaney, Jr. of Granville; nephew and his wife, Wally and Alma Chaney of Newark; niece and her husband, Leslie and Steve Shea of Newark; great-nephews, Matthew Shea and Carlos Chaney of Newark; great-nieces, Katelyn Shea and Andrea Chaney of Newark; Aunt Donna Varner Ehlermann of Newark; and cousins.
