Mary Bradley

A memorial service celebrating the life of Mary Louise Bradley, 79, of Granville will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at the Christ Lutheran Church, 732 Hebron Road, Heath, Ohio with Pastor Kristin Santiago officiating. Burial will be prior to the service at 10:00 A.M. at Maple Grove Cemetery in Granville.

Former proprietor of Granville Electric and Hardware for over 38 years, Mary passed away peacefully Friday, January 17, 2014 after a long, courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Baltimore, Ohio September 29, 1934 to the late Russell and Carrie (Shreyer) Camp.

A very hard-working individual her entire life, Mary also worked in food service at Denison University from 1993-2007. She enjoyed canning, particularly chili sauce, jellies, and her very own home-grown apples into apple sauce, antiquing and frequenting auctions. She is remembered for her sense of humor, work ethic, and strong sense of family

Surviving are her children, Stephen E. (Valerie) Bradley of Newark, Thomas A. (Anita) Bradley of Granville, and Mark O. (Denise) of Akron; grandchildren, Valaura (Steven) West, Stephen Bradley, Holly Atkins, Angela (Devin) Lehman, Casaundra (Adam) Jordan; great-grandchildren, Desiree, Jacob, Isaac, Hunter, Colt, and Bentley; brother, Kenneth Camp of Newark and his family; sister, Mildred Swarner of West Palm Beach, FL; the Stillwell family; brother-in-law, Fred Swarner of Newark; sisters-in-law, Ruth Steele and her family, and Mary Roberts and her family; Cindy Elsawy and her family and Cheryl Overbey and her family.

In addition to her husband, Edward H. Bradley, who died March 20, 2003, Mary is preceded in death by one sister, Josephine Stillwell.
