A memorial gathering will be held for Maxmillian P. Rogers, Jr., 49, formerly of Erie, Pennsylvania, on Thursday, November 1, 2012 from 5 to 8 P.M. at the Bryn Du Mansion, 537 Jones Rd., Granville with special remembrances hosted by Tom Myers at 7:30 P.M.

Max died Sunday, October 21, 2012 at his home in Muskingum County after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born April 5, 1963 in Erie, Pennsylvania to Emelia (Popp) and Maxmillian P. Rogers, Sr.

An outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing, Max was a HVAC consultant who most recently worked as General Manager with Federal Heating and Cooling in Dresden. He was meticulous with detail and was a trusted business advisor to many.

In addition to his parents, surviving are his wife, Catherine A. (Bechtold) Rogers; daughter, Emily Murphy; son, Elliott Murphy; sister and brother-in-law, Helena Rogers and Bill Adamski of Erie, PA; brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Kimberly Rogers of Erie, PA; niece, Emily Adamski; nephews Nicholas Adamski and Richard Rogers, Jr., uncles, Martin Rogers of Slippery Rock, PA, Skip Rogers of PA, and Thomas and June Rogers of Dunmore, KY; and special friends, Edward and Mary Jean Heft, Steve and Judy Richards, Randy and Sue Wolff, Roger Ratcliff, and Jerry and Rhonda Williams.
