Michelle Rena Pickering

Michelle Rena Pickering, age 55, beloved wife and mother, of Granville, passed away very unexpectedly on Monday, November 27, 2023, at licking Memorial Hospital. She was born in Lancaster, Ohio.

Michelle was a graduate of Lancaster high school, she later attended Franklin University where she earned an MBA as well as a bachelors degree in accounting and computer science. She was also a licensed CPA, realtor, and travel agent.

She was employed as a strategy and program Director in the healthcare industry.

Michelle was very creative, intellectually curious and had a strong desire to learn. She was also an avid reader. Her husband and girls were her whole life, they enjoyed spending time together in the back yard pool, traveling, game night, creative puzzles, music, cooking ….

Michele is survived by her husband of 20 years, Bryan Young; her precious daughters, Delaney and Kendall Young; father, James (Penny) Pickering; mother, Janice (John) Puterbaugh; brother Kevin (Jenice) Pickering; Aunt Jackie (Donald) Nunley; Uncle Joe (Debbie) Pickering; Mother in-law Darlene Young; sister in-law Beverly (Mark) Gould; brother in-law Michael Young; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins and good friends.

She is preceded in death by her father-in-law William Young, and her grandmother Mary Kraker

The celebration of life will be held at a later date.
