GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME!

A memorial service for Miles L. Waggoner, 74, of Powell will be held at 3:30 p.m. Monday at Centenary United Methodist Church, 102 E. Broadway, Granville with the Rev. Stephen J. Cramer and Rev. Dr. Eugene Folden officiating. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Fairfield Cemetery in West Lafayette, Ohio.

God blessed Miles with His ultimate healing of eternal life on Friday, June 29, 2007, at home following a courageous battle with amyloidosis. He was born Nov. 22, 1932, in West Lafayette, to the late G. Gordon and Beulah Jones Waggoner.

Mr. Waggoner was a 1950 graduate of West Lafayette High School, attended The Ohio State University, and served four years in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict.

Miles enjoyed a 35 year career in hospital administration serving the communities of London, Marion, Chillicothe, and Columbus.

As a member of Centenary United Methodist Church, Miles contributed many hours of leadership during the expansion and renovation of the church. He was also an affiliate member of Linworth United Methodist Church in Columbus.

Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Dorothy Jane Mencer Waggoner; sons, Derrol (Helen) Waggoner of Powell and Dana (Catherine) Waggoner of Springfield; grandchildren, Ian and Graham Waggoner; step-grandchildren, Stephen (Nancy) Salts and Scott (Melissa) Salts; step-great grandchildren, Adam, Jacob, Zachary, Katie and Kenny; sisters, JoAnne (Richard) Barrick of Stillwater, OK and Marie Waggoner of Chicago, IL; brother, Daniel (Diana) Waggoner of Reynoldsburg; sister-in-law, Joan Mencer of Coshocton; brother-in-law, Jack Baumgardner of Coshocton and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Miles was preceded in death by three sisters, Elinor Fletcher, Alice Waggoner, and Vivian Waggoner.

The family will receive friends from 1- 3 p.m. Monday in Shepherd Hall at the church.
