Patricia A. Davis

A gathering of family and friends for Patricia A. Davis, 58, of Granville, will be held at Moundbuilders Country Club, 125 N. 33rd St., Newark, from 4 to 6 p.m., Sunday, with a service beginning at 4:30 p.m. celebrating Pat's life.
Pat passed away Dec. 11, 2007, at home after a 4 A½ year battle with breast cancer. She was born on Jan. 26, 1949, in Toledo to Gus and Marion (Gors) Radde of Leesburg, Fl, formerly of Heath.
Pat lived in Granville since 1976. She was a 1967 graduate of Heath High School and was an Administrative Assistant in the Philosophy Department at Denison University from 1986 until 2006.
An avid gardener, Pat also enjoyed traveling with Steve in Great Britain, Europe, and the United States. She enjoyed other family vacations and being "Grandy" to Avery and Anthony.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her loving husband, Stephen Davis; her much loved daughter and son-in-law, Heather and Tony Venetta of Powell; her two precious grandchildren, Avery Lauren and Anthony Stephen Venetta; sisters and brother-in-law, Joyce and Randy Ayers of Newark, and Diane Kennedy of Clinton Corners, NY; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Preceding her in death were grandparents, Otto and Anna Radde, and George and Henrietta Gors; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Emmett Davis and Elizabeth Davis Keenan; brothers-in-law, Jim Kennedy, Tom Davis, and Bob Davis; and aunt/godmother, Gertrude Rode.
