Patrick H. Northcott

A funeral service celebrating the life of Patrick H. Northcott, 60, of Columbus, will be held Thursday, November 19, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at Redeemer’s Church. 1850 Courtright Rd., Columbus with Pastor Dwight Bennett as celebrant. A private graveside service will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Social distancing and masks will be required.

An assistant manager, with shipping and receiving, at John Glenn International Airport, Patrick passed away November 13, 2020 at his home after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Owosso, Michigan to the late Daniel C. and Colleen M. McKitrick.

A passionate Green Bay Packers fan, Pat also enjoyed NASCAR and the Cincinnati Reds. He enjoyed traveling, being outdoors, and vacationing in the Smoky Mountains. Patrick was a determined individual with great faith and devotion to God. He read scripture, spent time in prayer, and completed mission trips to Mexico. He will be remembered as a loving husband and father.

Surviving are his wife of 35 years, Bonnie; children and their spouses, Jason and Sarah Dunbar, Brian and Megan Dunbar, and Laura Dunbar; grandchildren, Micah, Lucas, Niya, Jonathan, Aaron; and brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Suzan Northcott.

The family would like to thank Interim Hospice for all their kindness and care for Patrick.

In addition to his parents, Patrick was preceded in death by his step-father and adopted dad, Richard Northcott.
