Pauline E. Fitch

August 17, 1925 — July 13, 2011

A graveside service for Pauline E. Fitch, 85, of Circle Pines, MN, formerly of Granville, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 1, 2011 at Maple Grove Cemetery in Granville with Pastor Bob Long officiating. Pauline died Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at Unity Hospital in Minneapolis. She was born in Granville to the late Clyde E. and Bertha E. (Johnson) Sunkle.

Pauline was a devoted wife and mother. She traveled extensively in Germany and abroad with her husband, Ernest, a Vietnam veteran, who retired after 28 years of service in the U.S. Army. Pauline was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church since 1934. She also attended Jonesboro (GA) First Baptist Church from 1978 to 1993 and was a member of TWIG 6 of Licking County. She enjoyed knitting, reading, amateur photography, and enjoyed writing letters.

Surviving are her sons and daughters-in-law, Bob and Taffie Fitch of Newark, and Mike and Maggie Fitch of Reynoldsburg; daughters and son-in-law, Shirley Hovik of Circle Pines, MN, and Molly and Kenny Campbell of Winston, GA; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ernest, who died December 17, 1993; and brother, Harold Sunkle.
