A private funeral service for Ralph Thomas (Tommy) Schnaidt was held at McPeek Funeral Home, 133 S. Prospect Street, Granville with the Rev. Stephen J. Cramer officiating. Burial followed in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Newark.
Tommy died April 25, 2007 at the Selma Markowitz Care Center, operated by Hospice of Central Ohio. He was born April 10, 1946 in Newark to the late Edward S. and Helen (Lay) Schnaidt.
Mr. Schnaidt was a graduate of the Eleanor S. Weiant Starlight School in Newark. He was also one of the first children to attend the school.
In addition to working several years at LICCO, Tommy also enjoyed many A.R.C. activities.
Surviving are his brother and sister-in-law, Samuel L. and Heidi R. Schnaidt of Granville; one niece, Deborah Johnson and her husband Benjamin of Granville; one nephew, David Schnaidt and his wife Rebecca of Granville; and six great-nieces and nephews.
