Revella Marie (Smith) Brumage

Revella M. (Smith) Brumage, 82 of Mansfield, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 24, 2023, at home surrounded by her loving family.  She was born August 2, 1941, in Granville, Ohio to the late Albert and Edith (Thompson) Smith.

Revella was a member of Welsh Hills Baptist Church where she served faithfully for many years.  She last attended Crossroads Church in Mansfield where she was on the School Backpack Committee.

Revella was also a member of the Sharon Valley Community Club as well as an avid crafter.  She liked making hand sewn quilts, Barbie doll clothes and plastic canvas racetracks.  Revella loved going on bus trips and going to see dirt track racing.  She enjoyed bowling and golfing with her husband, late Frederick E. Brumage.

Surviving are her two daughters and sons-in-law, Cheryl (Andy) Nagy of Dayton and Belinda (Steve) Etzel of Mansfield; one son, Frederick E. Brumage II, deceased; two brothers, Ed (Rachel) Smith of Granville, Don (Thelma) Smith of Newark and two sisters,  Shirley Sullivan and Gerry Whitehouse, both of Heath; seven grandsons, Andrew Nagy of Dayton, Josh (Taylor) Nagy of Grove City, Joe (Bethani) Scanlon of Lancaster, Jeremey Scanlon of West Virginia, Ryan (Reaunna) Etzel of Mansfield, Jimmy White and Kenny White both of Newark; two granddaughters, Jordan (Michael Mastro) Etzel of Denver, Colorado and Andrea Nagy, deceased; seven great granddaughters and two great grandsons; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, September 30, 2023, at McPeek Hoekstra Hoskinson Funeral Home, 133 S. Prospect St, Granville, Ohio 43023 with Pastor Paul O’Brien officiating. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior from 10-11 AM Saturday at the funeral home.
