Richard "Cory" Baughman

A life celebration for Richard "Cory" Baughman, 25, of Buckeye Lake, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday at McPeek Funeral Home, 133 S. Prospect Street, Granville with Pastor Jeff Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Welsh Hills Cemetery in Granville.

Cory went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at Licking Memorial Hospital in Newark. He was born February 17, 1983 in Newark to Pamela Sue (Legue) and Richard Kevin Baughman.

An avid gamer, Cory, loved the outdoors and fishing, anime cartoons, and sword collecting. He will be lovingly remembered for his kind heart, carefree attitude, and willingness to do anything for anyone.

Surviving are his father, Kevin Baughman and his fiancAC. Missy Clark of Lancaster; mother, Pam Baughman and her fiancAC. Jim Witter of Buckeye Lake; sister, Nancye Baughman of Lancaster; step-brother, B.J. Clark of Cincinnati; grandfather, Jon Coakley and his wife Patricia of Hebron; six aunts; three uncles; several cousins, and best friend, John Worstell.

Cory was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Forest Richard and Nancye (Wagner) Baughman; maternal grandmother, Patricia (Marshall) Coakley; and his beloved dog, Sabre.
